Feasibility review
The first review is not a regulatory approval or final quotation. It identifies missing information, material risks and a realistic next step.

Prototyping & palatability
Prototype rounds should answer defined questions:
Does the pet accept the flavor?
Is the texture right?
Can the active load be manufactured?
Does the pack dispense cleanly?
Which parameters need stability verification?
Species, ingredient off-notes, texture, serving method and storage all influence whether a product fits a daily routine — so they are built into the plan from the start:
1. Define the target species, life stage and use occasion.
2. Identify bitter, metallic, marine, herbal or fermented off-notes.
3. Select a flavor direction and compatible dosage-form base.
4. Adjust texture, mouthfeel, size and serving method.
5. Test prototypes using an agreed method and sample set.
6. Confirm that packaging and shelf life do not undermine acceptance.
Chonyan does not use unsupported claims such as "90% of pets love it" or "guaranteed acceptance."
Specification freeze
The goal is not one impressive sample; it is a specification that can be manufactured and supplied consistently.
